Primary Children’s Hospital Endorses the National Kidney Foundation of Utah & Idaho

To Whom it May Concern,

We are the social workers following all pediatric patients who receive dialysis or kidney transplant care at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Throughout their journey with kidney failure, our patients and their families face many challenges. To offset financial burdens and provide support during the most difficult times, we rely on the emergency funds provided by the National Kidney Foundation. Families are grateful for this assistance, and it has prevented evictions and utility shutoffs during cold winter months.

Our  pediatric kidney patients also take part in the youth camp and family camp offered by the National Kidney Foundation.

These events are important to our kids and families, as they offer an opportunity for patients to recreate together and share their unique experiences. Many of our families have met during these events and have maintained close and supportive relationships.

As social workers, we consider the National Kidney Foundation of Utah & Idaho to one of our most valued resource for patients and families.

We are grateful for the assistance the organization has provided to our families. We are grateful for those who so generously make donations or who donate a used car Utah Kidney Kars (towKars.org).  We hope that these important services will continue to be available .
Sincerely,

Casey Stillman, LCSW  & Naomi Ericson, LCSW
