Dear National Kidney Foundation of Utah, Thank you so very much for your help paying the dentist. As I didn’t have any dental insurance, I had molar teeth that got pulled. My husband and I would like to say thank you for the tremendous financial grant to pay our power bill. We have been in such a financial crunch to pay all our medical bills. We are in the process of trying to lose enough weight for my husband to qualify to be on the kidney transplant waiting list. We are hoping that by October, he will be healthy enough to be eligible to be on the waiting list. We truly appreciate great organizations, like the Kidney Foundation, who help people like us in need. We are greatly in your debt, and praise God for another day. We also pray for all of those who help us with my husband’s kidney problems on a daily basis; our doctors, nurses, and dialysis technicians. Dear Kidney Foundation of Utah, It is very hard to put into words how much you have helped me since my kidney failure. Because of your help, I have stayed alive long enough to see my grandchildren grow up. This Summer, I was able to arrange to dialyze away from home and visit them in Oregon. It is so hard to live on dialysis, but with your help, I have been able to make memories with my Grandkids that no one can ever take away. Thank you for helping pay our mortgage to Countrywide Home Loans in December. At this point, what income we do have is spent on medical care. In our hardship we have seen miracles to keep us moving forward toward a kidney transplant. The gift from the National Kidney Foundation of Utah was one of these miracles. We would like to express our gratitutde for everything you’re doing to help support kidney patients here in Utah. Being on dialysis is very taxing and puts a heavy strain on the family finances. Without your help, I dont know if I could afford to drive to a treatment center to get to dialysis. I still have children at home, and want to be a positive influence in their lives for as long as I can. Thank you for making it possible for me to continue to lead a productive life and to remiain in the lives of my children, who still need me.
